About me

I’ve always been drawn to working with timber, though for many years the timing was wrong. After a long career in IT, a life-changing event prompted me to step back and reassess how I wanted to spend my time and attention.

In 2024, I completed full-time study at the Sturt School for Wood and am currently a resident artist at Sturt Gallery and Studios. My practice is grounded in a respect for material and process, with a particular interest in creating pieces that sit slightly outside the expected. I enjoy allowing space for play, humour, and small moments of surprise within otherwise considered forms.

I live and work in the Southern Highlands, NSW, where timber, landscape, and making continue to shape both my work and my way of working.
